Does Dulo come with channels?

No. Dulo is the popcorn machine, not the popcorn: it has no channels, films or series of its own. It plays the subscription you already have from an IPTV provider. Add its Xtream Codes login or M3U link and the show can start.

How do I add a playlist?

Tap Add playlist and choose a way: Xtream Codes, M3U link or M3U file. Give the playlist a name first (it's required), then fill in the details your provider sent you. Got one long link from them? Paste it and Dulo fills in the fields. Dulo checks that the playlist works before saving it. You'll find your playlists later in Settings › Playlists.

Xtream Codes or M3U: which one should I pick?

If your provider gave you a server address, a username and a password, pick Xtream Codes: you get tidy groups, movie and series details, the TV guide and catch-up. An M3U link or file is one long playlist; it works too, with fewer details and no catch-up. If your M3U link is really an Xtream account in disguise, Dulo notices and uses Xtream for you.

What's the difference between free and Extra Butter?

Free gives you the whole show for one playlist: live TV, the TV guide, catch-up, reminders, movies and series, with ads. Extra Butter is an optional subscription that adds unlimited playlists, lets you create combos and takes away every ad. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.

How do I switch playlists?

Open Settings › Playlists and tap the one you want. It becomes the active playlist, and Home, Live, Guide, Movies and Series all follow it. Picks, combos and history are kept separately for each playlist. An expired Xtream account can't be picked until your provider renews it.

What are My picks?

Your favourites. Tap the bookmark on a channel, movie, series or episode to keep it in My picks. They show up on Home, as a group at the start of each section and in Settings › My picks. Removed one by mistake? Tap Undo and it goes back where it was.

What are combos?

Combos are your own named lists, like “Friday films” or “Cartoons for Sunday”. Each one can hold anything, or only channels, movies, series or episodes, and has its own colour. Add items from a movie or series page and find them in Settings › Combos. Creating a combo is part of Extra Butter; the ones you made stay yours if it ends.

How does Continue watching work?

Dulo remembers where you stopped in a movie or episode and picks up from there, from Home or from its page. Once you've watched nearly all of it, it counts as finished, and a series offers the next episode. To begin again, tap Start over. To wipe the list, clear the watch history of the active playlist in Settings.

How does the kids lock work?

Set a 4-digit PIN in Settings › Kids lock, then choose what to lock on each playlist: whole sections, groups or single channels. Locked things ask for the PIN before they open. Once the PIN is entered, the playlist stays open until you tap Lock again or close the app. Adding a lock never asks for the PIN; removing one does.

I forgot my kids-lock PIN. What now?

Honest answer: there's no back door. The PIN is kept only as a scrambled hash on your device, so neither you nor we can read or reset it. The only way to start over is to delete Dulo and install it again, which also removes your playlists, picks, combos and settings. Keep your provider's login details at hand to add your playlist again; Extra Butter comes back with Restore purchases.

The picture stutters or keeps buffering. What can I do?

Most hiccups come from the connection or the provider's server. Try these:

• Move closer to your Wi-Fi router, or switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data.

• Pause other downloads or streams on the same network.

• Tap Retry, or try another channel to see if it's only that one.

• Ask your provider whether your account is active and not already in use on all its allowed screens (Xtream playlists show connections in Settings › Playlists).

• Restart Dulo or your router.

Dulo already reconnects by itself when a stream drops.

Why are some channels, movies or posters missing?

Dulo shows exactly what your provider sends. If a channel, movie, series, poster or description is missing, or a stream won't play, it comes from the provider's side, so please ask them; adding the playlist again won't change what they send. Two things to check in Dulo: a kids lock may hide some groups, and an M3U playlist without movies or series simply has no Movies or Series section.

Why is the TV guide empty?

The guide comes from your provider, so it depends on what they send.

• Xtream: some providers send no listings, or only for some channels. Channels without any show “No information”.

• M3U: if the playlist doesn't name a guide, add an XMLTV guide link in the playlist's TV guide options (Settings › Playlists). Your provider can give you one.

• Times off by an hour or more? Use the guide time shift on that same page.

Then tap Refresh guide.

What is catch-up, and why don't all channels have it?

Catch-up lets you watch programmes that already aired, or restart the one on now from its beginning. Your provider decides which channels keep recordings and for how many days, so only those channels carry the catch-up mark. It works with Xtream Codes playlists only; M3U playlists show the guide but can't replay it. In the TV guide, tap a past programme with the catch-up mark, then Play, or Watch from the start for the one on now.

My reminder didn't ring. Why?

Reminders are notifications on your device, five minutes before a programme starts, so Dulo needs permission to send them. Check iOS Settings › Notifications › Dulo IPTV and turn on Allow Notifications, and make sure a Focus mode isn't silencing them. If you said no when Dulo first asked, that reminder wasn't saved; set it again once notifications are allowed. Removing a playlist also cancels its reminders.

How do I get Extra Butter back on a new device?

Sign in with the same Apple Account, open Settings and tap Restore purchases. Your subscription comes back straight away. Playlists stay on the device they were added on, so add yours again with your provider's details.

How can I contact you?

Write to support@duloiptv.app, or use Email support in Settings. Tell us your device, iOS version and what happened. We can't help with your provider's account or what it streams, but we're happy to help with anything in the app.
