Privacy policy
Last updated: 3 October 2026
This policy explains how Dulo IPTV (“Dulo”, “the app”) handles information when you use it on iPhone or iPad. In short: your playlists and everything you save stay on your device, there is no account to create, and we don't run analytics.
At a glance
Dulo has no sign-up and no user accounts. We don't use analytics or crash-reporting tools, we don't build a profile of you, and we never sell or rent information about you. The only other parties involved are the ones described below: your IPTV provider, Google's ad services (free plan only), and Apple and RevenueCat for purchases.
What stays on your device
Everything you add or create in Dulo is stored only in the app's own storage on your device: your playlists (their name, the server address, username and password, or the M3U link or a copy of the imported file, plus the account status your provider reports), My picks, combos, continue-watching spots, recent channels, pinned groups, reminders, cached TV guide data, your viewing settings and caption style, and the kids-lock rules. The kids-lock PIN itself is never stored, only a salted hash of it that can't be turned back into the PIN.
None of this is uploaded to us; we have no server that receives it. It may be part of your device backups, as your iCloud or computer backup settings decide.
Your IPTV provider
Dulo has no channels, films or series of its own. When you add a playlist, the app connects directly from your device to the server or link you entered, with the login you gave, to fetch channel lists, details, the TV guide and the streams themselves. That server is run by your provider, not by us, and it sees what any streaming server sees, such as your IP address and what you play. Your provider's own privacy policy applies to that, so please read it.
The remote settings file
When the app starts, it downloads a small settings file from our server. It tells the app whether ads are on, how often they appear and which purchase settings to use. The request carries no personal data and no identifier. Like any internet request it reveals your IP address to the server; we don't use it to identify you. If the file can't be reached, the app uses the settings built into it.
The TV guide
Programme listings come from your provider's server, or from a guide link named in your M3U playlist or added by you. They are downloaded straight to your device and kept there in a cache so the guide opens quickly; we never receive them. Removing a playlist deletes its guide cache.
Reminders
When you tap Remind me on an upcoming programme, Dulo schedules a local notification on your device for five minutes before it starts. The reminder (channel, programme title and time) is saved only on your device; nothing is sent to us or to any push service. Dulo asks for notification permission the first time you set a reminder, never before, and you can change that choice at any time in iOS Settings.
Ads and tracking
On the free plan, Dulo shows ads served by Google AdMob: one ad when the app opens, full-screen ads after some taps, and ad cards in some lists. To show and measure ads, Google's software may collect device information such as your IP address, device model, app version and an advertising identifier.
Where the law requires it, Dulo first shows Google's consent form (User Messaging Platform) so you can decide how your data is used for ads; you can open it again from Settings › Ad privacy choices. On iOS, Dulo also asks Apple's App Tracking Transparency question. If you say no, your device's advertising identifier isn't shared and the ads you see may be less relevant; the app works exactly the same. Google's privacy policy applies to the ads it serves.
With Extra Butter there are no ads, and Dulo doesn't load any.
Purchases
Extra Butter is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through Apple's App Store. Apple handles the payment; we never see your card or Apple Account details. Dulo uses RevenueCat to check whether your subscription is active. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID, your purchase receipts from Apple and basic technical details such as the app version and store country; it doesn't receive your name or email address. Apple's and RevenueCat's privacy policies apply to that processing.
Email support
If you write to us at support@duloiptv.app, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include. We use it only to answer you and don't keep it longer than needed for that. Please never send us your playlist password.
Children and the kids lock
Dulo isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone; there are no accounts to sign up for. The kids lock lets a grown-up lock sections, groups and single channels behind a 4-digit PIN. It works entirely on the device: the PIN is kept only as a salted hash and the rules are saved with each playlist.
Your choices and rights
You stay in control of your data:
• Remove a playlist in Settings › Playlists. Everything saved with it goes too: picks, combos, continue-watching spots, recent channels, pinned groups, kids-lock rules, reminders and its guide cache.
• Clear the watch history of the active playlist in Settings.
• Change your ad consent in Settings › Ad privacy choices (shown where the law requires it), and tracking in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
• Delete the app to erase everything it stored on your device.
As we don't hold your data on our servers, there is nothing for us to export or delete on our side. For ads and purchases you can also contact Google, Apple or RevenueCat. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the CCPA) you may have further rights; write to us and we'll help.
Changes to this policy
If Dulo starts handling information differently, we'll update this policy in the app and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
